Are Ya Interested in A Contest?

I am so bad at taking pictures lately, it’s not even funny.

This morning I had coffee for breakfast. I wasn’t really hungry. More focused on other things that I need to do, like study for this major final exam!

Actually when I woke up, I saw a big screen tv in the office room and some exercise equipment (bench press, workout bench, weights etc.) It was so weird. I’ve mentioned before that when I wake up it is like I am not completely there. it’s a little funny. Like if you asked me when my birthday was right when I woke up, I don’t think I’d be able to answer right then and there. You’d have to give me about 30 minutes to recuperate from sleep. haha! later on I remembered that our neighbors roommate was moving out and he offered to give us some of his stuff. So, now we have a big screen TV that I don’t think works and some workout equipment (yay). I love free stuff. :-D

OK so I’ve got a question for ya! I am working on a contest (puhahaha! ~rubbing hands together~) as in a way say THANKS to those who read (comment or no comment) A Fat Cat Who Created A Vegetarian. The contest entails a prize at the end, which I am having a difficult time narrowing down. I mean I have a few ideas (can’t reveal), but I want to hear your input!! I’d love to hear what my readers enjoy winning! Of course the prize would have to be something that relates to this blog (as the contest relates), so please don’t suggest something like 1-million dollars (although I would love to win that!). <3 <3

Later I had leftover Snobby joes from Post Punk Kitchen. I also munched on the rest of those cupcakes that I made last night.

Breakfast:

I actually didn’t take any pictures of breakfast. It’s the usual cereal and coffee deal, so not a big miss.

Lunch:

Cliff bar, random snacking, and potato chips

Dinner:

Snobby joes from Post Punk Kitchen with mini white buns. I lost track of how many I ate…I think 3..? They’re so tiny that it’s hard to stop. haha.

Dessert:

I wanted some of those muffins that I made for my students, so I made a small vegan batch (I subbed the egg with Ener-G egg replacer).

I think I should have added more filling to them. The ones with more batter turned out decent and more cake-like, whereas, the ones with less batter turned out more like a cookie rather than a cupcake. Interesting turn out though.

Delish eats!!

Oooh, a contest??? Can’t go wrong with a FOOD prize!! :-D

How about some of those vegan muffins? They look great :)

the cupcakes are adorable! it looks like it’s sparkling!

I actually have never had sloppy joes/snobby joes before. Is it really messy to eat? I’ve had messy burgers if that counts.

And as for a contest? I agree with a food prize! Especially, well, since I do have a TJ or WF where I am in Canada! I am thus, always jealous of what you guys are all able to find there!

Sharon: oh yes they are sloppy. You are missing out girl! Go make yourself some sloppy/snobby joes! I think you might like it! I love messy burgers–they’re the best!

Yeah I hear that Canada doesn’t have as much variety as the U.S. What type of items are you wishing you had there that we carry here in the states?

Anything from Whole Foods and Traders Joe’s really. But you guys have such an abundance of neat bars, like Honest Foods, Bear Naked Granola (We have only two/three flavours, and that is it!), and all those generic TJ and WF brands. It makes me drool at the computer screen to see everyone’s grocery hauls from there.

So overall, Canada is pretty dull with their array of products as compared to the United States. I definitely need to save up some extra money to head on over there to stock up – especially since we don’t have Fage, Chobani or any greek yogurts, really.

Sharon: aww you guys don’t have WFs there? I am absolutely in love with that store (minus their produce section, which I get elsewhere). Oh, you can try contacting Chobani for free samples and letting them know where you live. I was sent free products once from Chobani after I mentioned that I couldn’t find it here in Oakland. They’re so nice! Now I see it at my two local favorite shops. :-)

I agree! No Whole Foods around my area either! :(

The burger looks delish!!!!

anything that is made by you or a store near where you live would be great! :D

Thanks Coco!! Your comment gave me a great idea!!! :-)
