I Can Have Cake and Eat Two (slices)!

Happy Friday!

I don’t work today Woo hoo! This means i get to just relax and do whatever I want!

Today I’m going to head to the mall and exchange a pair of jeans.

Maybe I’ll also stop by William & Sonoma — Love that store!

I have to also get a few baking ingredients to make bars for the bike ride tomorrow morning — excited!

So far I think I’ve been pretty productive:

• took the doggies to the dog park in the early morning
• Studied. I finished an entire chapter today. 6 more chapters to go
• hopped on the trainer for 20 minutes
• Did Pilates for 10 minutes
• Took the pups for walk.

Breakfast:

I was not hungry yesterday (scroll down to see why).

I just had coffee and a small bowl of 365 Organic Honey Graham Bears with soy milk.

  

Lunch:

Bagel sandwich (cream cheese, tofurky deli slices, greens) side of chips & Virgil’s Real Cola.

Recap of Yesterday’s eats:

I packed a bunch of items in my lunch bag to take to work:

• Mug
• 1/2 bagel sandwich from lunch (in mug)
• Earl Grey teas
• 1 orange
• cinnamon bagel with cream cheese
• flax muffin (bottom)
• my apricot/walnut/cranberry/chocolate chips trail mix

What I ended up eating:

• 1/2 bagel sandwich
• orange
• 1 earl grey tea with milk

I also packed a bag of different types of teas to leave in my locker.

When I walked into work, I found this cake!

My manager had gotten me a birthday cake! And it was DELICIOUS!

Yellow cake with raspberry filling (MY FAVE!), loads of whipped cream and chocolate bark! I had one really big slice at work, saved one slice for Long and had another slice (small) when I got home.

Later I ended up eating a bowl of noodles and going to bed a few hours later.

Why have just one slice, when you can have two? Especially since it’s my birthday.. well, my birthday was on the 9th, but

hey I don’t mind celebrating it a few more days than normal.
