Weekend Recap w/ Fun Facts!
These past few days have been event packed!
I’m sort of happy that it’s over, but at the same time sad that it is.
This morning I worked from 9-3 and was a little sluggish. When I got home, I literally crashed a couple of hours later.
After my much needed nap, I feel a bit more energized. I also woke up to a nice dinner prepared by my amazing husband!
Tonight’s Dinner:
Salad with organic tomatoes & ranch dressing. Brussels Sprouts & Potato stew along with 1 slice of cheese pizza topped with nutritional yeast.
I also drank LOTS of water. Because of my busy schedule this past weekend, I have been neglecting to hydrate myself properly. Going to have to fix that as my skin is suffering from lack of water.

Lots of photos to upload, so I’m going to do a quick recap of my weekend. Enjoy!
Friday Night
Old ancient computer was put back to work.
Fun fact: My husband Long built this computer himself back int 2002 and named it Mini Mordecai.

Everything, including the Computer monitor is still working and running on Window’s XP.
Fun Fact: Some major hospitals still run on Windows XP.

Miss Dottie observing the entire time.
Fun Fact: Miss Dottie likes to sleep on pillows and really nice couches!

Delicious Apricot & Strawberry bars were made.
Fun Fact: I am experimenting on a “secret” bar (rubbing hands together and laughing).

Saturday MORNING:
These bars made a great breakfast…

…and was super energizing as emergency snacks during our 18.92 mile bike ride.
Fun Fact: We’re building a cycling team.

We had Gorgeous views!
Not so Fun Fact: Our path to Golden Gate Bridge was under construction, so we couldn’t ride across it today.

It was warm and sunny = perfect cycling weather.

We stopped for food/water breaks & bike fixes

We also stopped to discuss routes & miles.

When we arrived back, we walked to Tofu Noodle House. I ordered that one.
Fun fact: I like to point to things I refer to with a dorky smile.

My Sister and I.
Stay Tuned for her Guest Post. She will be writing about her journey to meeting her weight loss goals. It’s going to be a great story that you don’t want to miss!
I will be doing her final measurements tomorrow morning. We are both excited!
Fun fact: People used to call us twins when we were kids. We still get it sometimes today.

Saturday EVENING:
My sister and I drove to visit a friend, Soeun, for her birthday.
All three of us have birthdays in January.
That’s her beautiful baby Aveah (Pronounced “A-Vee”). He’s such an adorable baby. Very sweet.

We treated her out to Thai Basil.

We ate family style:
We started off with an appetizer: the roti curry with crepes

Pad Thai

Then we went back for Dessert!
My sister got a variety of cupcakes from Kara’s Cupcakes. They specialize in all natural ingredients.

Look how pretty! I love the SF logo in support of the San Francisco 49ers.

More cupcakes!

Goodnight!
