Spicy Bell Pepper Stir Fry with “steak” strips
Makes 4-5 1-cup servings
1 red bell pepper, julienne
1 green bell pepper, julienne
½ yellow onion, julienne
2-3 cloves of garlic, minced
½ inch knob of ginger, mined
2 tsp. of Braggs Amino Acids
¼ tsp of turmeric powder
¼ tsp of chili powder
1 package of Lightlife Smart Strips Steak Style Strips
2 tsp of chili oil, if you don’t have this use chili flakes and 2 tsp of olive oil
1 Tbsp of olive oil
Heat nonstick skillet on medium-high heat with olive oil.
Add onions, stir and cook for about a minute
Add in garlic and ginger, Stir and cook for about a minute
Add strips. Stir.
Turn heat to high. Let cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring only a few times. You want that nice char on the strips and veggies.
Add 1 tsp of Braggs, 1 tsp of chili oil, bell peppers. Stir and cook for 5-6 minutes or until bell peppers are cooked.
Add in 1 tsp of chili oil, 1 tsp of Braggs, turmeric and chili powder at end. Stir then serve.
